Bovec, Slovenia

"Performing Arts Training Today" will take place in Bovec, the mountain resort and the small ancient alpine town which is over 800 years old. Bovec is located
in northwestern Slovenia in the Trenta valley of the Julian Alps within the Triglav National Park. This is one of the most beautiful places in Europe. It features the source of the river Soca, one of the most beautiful rivers in Europe and the 106m high Boka waterfall. 

Bovec is one of Europe's top centres for extreme and adventure sports including hiking, mountain biking, kayaking, canyoning, whitewater rafting and skiing. Located at 2200m, Kanin near Bovec is Slovenia's highest ski centre.

The Conference events will take place at Bovec Culture House. IUGTE will provide participants with hotel accommodation (twin and single rooms), two meals per day - breakfast and lunch, tea/coffee breaks and free access to hotel swimming pool. All the rooms have private bathroom, cable TV and telephone. All meals are buffet style, there is a good choice for vegetarians. The restaurant is fully air conditioned. There is Internet access at the hotel and the Culture House.
