IMPORTANT INFORMATION For the participants The present information may have changes and adds-ins
It is the policy of IUGTE to expressly forbid any forms of harassment. As used here, harassment means any verbal, written, visual, or physical acts that are offensive in nature, intimidating, unwelcome, or that could reasonably be taken as objectionable. Harassment is prohibited on the ground of sex, race, sexual orientation, racial or linguistic origin, creed, marital status, pregnancy, family status, age, disability or citizenship. Every participant is responsible for his physical condition during the training. It is necessary to notify in advance about limitations and to adjust the participation with the leader of the group beforehand. The participants should take off all sharp and scratchy ornaments (ear-rings, bracelets, necklaces, watches, sharp hair-pins, etc). All the footwear should be left in the corridor before entering the classroom. Clothing for the training should be comfortable and cozy (it is not recommended to wear skirts, provoking clothes or to participate in training naked). Each participant is provided with the precise timetable of the festival. The doors of the training rooms are getting closed shortly before the beginning of each training so all the latecomers are not allowed into the room. Waking up for the morning training is participants task. There are several workshops during the festival. Any requests or changes concerning the participation should be submitted to the organizers of the festival beforehand. The participants are expected to take an active part in the process of the practical workshops. In case the participant wishes to confine himself within observation for some reason, this question should be submitted to the group leaders approval. The observer should keep quiet; keep the planned order and other requirements in the context of the training. Mobile phones must be turned off during the training. It is forbidden to film or take pictures during the training; there will be special time for it. The participants can make notes during the training, if it doesnt interrupt the process of studying. The inside of all festival premises is a non-smoking area. The participants are welcome to use the tea-kettle and the coffee-machine to get themselves drinks on the 2nd floor of the hostel 24 hours a day. Please clean up after yourself. The participants can change the disposition of the furniture according their needs in their hotel rooms, although it should be returned to its initial place before departure. The participants are in charge of their personal stuff. Hot water is coming from the boiler, so please be aware of all the other participants needs and dont waste the water. Everybody is in charge of the cleanness of his or her room. Before leaving the festival the room should be put into order. There is a first-aid post in the hotel. Participants are not authorized to receive guests, who are not participating in the festival, in their rooms. There is a library with Internet connection and a cash dispenser in the House of Culture (5 Nometnu Str.). There are shops and the post office in the center of Malpils. Participants of the festival can park their cars in front of the hotel. The park around the ponds is a beautiful area. It is great for walks, jogging or just getting out into the fresh air for a while. Please make no noise after 24:00. It is not allowed to take alcoholic drinks or any other intoxicating substances during the festival. The participant of the festival will receive the Certificate of participation in THEATRE METHODS 04 upon submitting of the detailed creative report (1500 words). In case of non-observance of the rules, the participant can be discharged from participation in the Festival without returning payment.
