The Lab is open to performers from different creative genres, techniques and styles interested to enrich the professional arsenal with new practical methods and devices and to explore  contemporary aesthetics in communication with a spectator.

PARTICIPANTS

Actors of physical, dramatic, musical and dance theatres, dancers, choreographers, directors, stage designers, playwrights, script writers.

PROGRAMME

The program includes intensive practical training, lectures and discussion club.

The Lab programme is focused on practical exploration of performer’s psycho-physical instrument. Through the system of consecutive exercises the group is growing common language and trust, ability to collaborate and create together.

Each day will begin from the morning warm-up based on the Biomechanics of Meyerhold.
The warm-up combines breathing, movement and imagination. It will help to waken and prepare the organism for the intensive practical work during the day
.

The Lab is an opportunity to establish new contacts with colleagues from different countries, to share experiences, challenges and successes in the atmosphere of group creative process out of everyday formal professional roles, and to discover new ideas and inspiration for future creative projects!

REGISTRATION

Candidates should send a CV and a brief letter of motivation to info@iugte.com stating the title, dates and location of the event. Places are limited, the registration will be closed once the group is full.

Participation fee:
590 EUR if payment is made before April 12th.  
For IUGTE Members - 20% discount. 
 

The fee covers attendance of the programme, accommodation in a twin room and two meals per day - breakfast and lunch during the Lab.
