Between Tradition and Contemporaneity
"Theatre Methods" is the annual professional festival-fair dedicated to the Bridge between Tradition and Contemporaneity in performing arts. The festival is an opportunity to demonstrate methods of training in traditional theatre and to present contemporary works created as the result of traditional theatre training techniques.
The aim of the festival is to make the contribution to the upbringing of tolerance in the society by the acquaintance with the diversity of world traditions.
The main tasks of the festival are to demonstrate various theatre methods, to exchange experience in professional theatre education, methods of rehearsal process, performance making and production.
Participants: actors, directors, dancers, choreographers, teachers, playwrights, stage designers, script writers, theatre critics, journalists, cultural managers. The festival invites both the bearers of the authentic traditions in performing arts and the representatives of contemporary stage work from all over the world.
