MICHAEL CHEKHOV TECHNIQUE

March 20-24, 2006
Riga, Latvia

Michael Chekhov (1891-1955) left us
the invaluable experience of the Genius Actor and Director. He was possessed by theatre and worked wonders on the stage. He had the gift to make spectators laugh and cry, wonder and suffer together with him. Greatest actors of the world considered and consider it an honor to call him Teacher.

The workshop program was specially designed for professional stage artists who are inspired by Michael Chekhov's Acting Technique, who are interested to establish deeper understanding of his approach and to integrate his ideas into their practical work - rehearsal process, performance and teaching.

The workshop venue was located  not far from the historical place where Michael Chekhov carried out theatre workshops with his students in 1930s.
