 Sounding Dance
Pamela Woods will share different aspects of her investigation into 'Site as Source and Resource for Sounding Dance Improvisations' during the summer camp. Participants will have the opportunity to incorporate vocal expression into their dance practice through:
 experiencing exercises and sequences aimed to release the natural voice and explore vocal potential;
'playing' with movement and voice to discover new realms of expression;
exploring different relationships between vocal sound and movement;
performing improvisatory tasks in response to a range of sites offered by the buildings and landscape at our base in Malpils;
developing choreographic ideas relating to these sites, considering a continuum from improvisation through to composition.
