Practical sessions develop in the form of various exercises which progress from simple to compound. Gradually the group proceeds to group improvisations and structures. "This was unforgettable experience and I undoubtedly looking forward to attend more of
the IUGTE events in the near future".
Evgeniya Kalugina, Netherlands

"The supportive and nurturing environment of the facilitators as well as the fellow participants overwhelmed me and from this I began to learn valuable skills that one needs to have to instill such supportive environment within my own artistic ventures."
Gabriella Bishop, South Africa

"The IUGTE International Summer School of Physical Theatre in Austria will hold a dear place in my heart, mind, and training. I am beyond grateful for the opportunity to grow that this intensive provided. It provided the catalyst for transition and improvement I would not have found on my own".
Vivian Glazier, USA

"I would like to thank Sergei for letting me look at directing and performing from a different conceptual perspective. And for reminding about sacred functions of theater and performance..."
Olga Merekina, China

"It has been an inspiring session, one that I hope to repeat soon. The workshop has been conceptualized brilliantly and the reins are in the hands of accomplished teachers".
Nrupa Soman, India

"I appreciate the process of the whole workshop, which was strictly planned and complex. We went through it step by step. I am very lucky to have so wonderful chance to know such beautiful and interesting people from all over a world. After a few days we all had that feeling that we know each other for a long time..."
Ilona Gumowska, Poland

"The network of artist friends that was built during this event was absolutely priceless. My theater vision was continuously expanding just by mingling with everyone else... From working mostly only in my own country, I have now stepped out of my comfort zone and familiar mental boundaries, and I am now able to see myself in the context of the global theater community. Indeed, this experience is one of the greatest rewards in my life...If I had not decided to come, I cannot imagine how many years it would have taken me to witness such things and to have already so many connections with theater artists around the world".
Sasapin Siriwanij, Thailand

"The structure of the workshop is excellent. The morning warm-up is consistent, the afternoon sessions are demanding and exhilarating and the evening
discussions are enlightening and informative. I would highly recommend this workshop to any artist interested in learning about Meyerhold’s Biomechanics, ensemble
building, directing, physical scoring and vocal scoring in the rehearsal process and how to implement it in rehearsal"
Laura Ricard, USA

"Perfect organization and timing. The macro structure of the organization allows the perfect understanding of the concepts exposed during classes. Also the geographical place allows that your attention is only focused on the work. For me it is a model to follow in my everyday training and which i will try to do. Beautiful people in all the sense of the word".
Santiago Parada, Columbia

"I can highly recommend Summer School under direction of IUGTE to colleagues in the industry"
Mira Horovitz, Sweden

"I have no doubt that I am proud of myself for joining
this program. Having theatre education, learning different culture from students from all over the
world, such as North America, Europe, Middle East, and Asia. Tasting delicious foods, making new friends, having nice things, for example, doing enjoyable activities like riding a bike with breath-taking scenery of Wagna and so much more".
Damla Yildirim, Turkey

"So many of the lessons I learned this week will be invaluable in my everyday life... I cannot thank Sergei enough for all he has taught me and the space he provided for all of us to discover and create".
Alayha McNamara, USA

"I was thrilled by the way in which I encountered each member of the group in the flow of the exercises and how I found myself excited by the special connection I made with certain participants...I have made lasting friendships and potential future creative partnerships that have been earthed in unforced encounters on the workshop floor in a flow controlled by an expert helmsman"
David Calvert, UK
