PRESENTATION OVERVIEW

For 20 years working as a tutor on practical writing for theatre Lauris Gundars has worked out his own method of creating characters which is the basis of every performance – with or without spoken texts. Lauris Gundars has also written a book on that method which is printed already in 2nd edition and the translation of it now is in progress. But his point of preference is his students in all theatre professions who are very successfully using this method in their creative work.

Lauris Gunards would like to present his method at sitting talk – lecture plus short writing exercise in auditorium to understand the method in best way. He would like to prove to the audience that character building is very powerful tool in stage performances of any type. Exactly the character is basic guarantee to get love from your audience.
