International Conference "Performing Arts Between Tradition and Contemporaneity" Theatre - Dance - Music - Visual & Multimedia Art - Arts Administration - Performing Arts Training - Theatre Design & Technology Movement for Actors / Acting For Dancers This workshop encompasses practical exploration of discoveries of such outstanding figures as K.Stanislavski, Vs.Meyerhold and M.Chekhov, theatrical experiments of J.Grotowski and E.Barba, educational philosophy of T.Suzuki and the martial arts experience which got incorporated in Ostrenko method of performers training. The core of Ostrenko's creative process is practice and bodily contact, where actors develop communication and overall sensibility with minimal verbal expression. This course naturally builds up performers' body, voice, speech and that improves performers' presence on the stage. It is achieved through a sequence of exercise which progress from simple to compound in a light and playful manner, which is one of the most important elements of the Ostrenko' Method.
